Which printers does PrintSol support?
Bambu Lab is proven on real printers. Klipper, Prusa, OctoPrint and Elegoo drivers exist but have only been tested against simulated printers.
Support has two parts: can PrintSol slice for the model, and can the bridge control it. The Supported printers page (Printers → Connect printers → Supported printers) shows both for every model the installed slicers know.
Control: how the bridge talks to each brand
- Bambu Lab: Bambu LAN (MQTT + FTPS). Proven on real printers, including X1 Carbon and P1S.
- Bambu Cloud: status and simple commands for printers linked to a Bambu account. It cannot upload files.
- Prusa: PrusaLink.
- Klipper printers (including Creality K series): Moonraker.
- Elegoo Centauri and Anycubic Kobra S1: SDCP.
- Marlin and other printers: through OctoPrint in front of the printer.
The status column
- Proven here: slices correctly and has finished real prints on your farm.
- Ready: slices correctly and its control protocol is proven (in practice: Bambu Lab).
- Slices · control untested: slicing works; the bridge driver has only been tested against simulated printers.
- Slicing fails: the test slice failed on this server; the reason is shown.
- Not checked: no test slice has been made yet. Owners and managers can press Check to slice a test part.
Adding a non-Bambu printer
In the bridge window, use Find & add, pick the model, and enter an API key if the printer needs one (PrusaLink: printer screen Settings → Network → PrusaLink; OctoPrint: Settings → API; Moonraker only when it asks for one). Printers without a driver can still be sliced for; you download the file and start it yourself.
