Print queue
Cancel a task, or stop a print that has already started
Cancel withdraws a start that is on its way, and stops the printer if the print is already running.

Use Cancel task on the card, or Cancel in the task popup. What happens depends on how far the task got.
Not sent yet
The task is cancelled and leaves any plate it was on. Nothing reaches the printer.
Start on its way
- If the bridge has not collected the start yet, it is withdrawn: "The start was withdrawn before it reached the printer."
- If the bridge already collected it, PrintSol sends a stop the moment the printer confirms the start: "The bridge had already taken the start, so PrintSol stops the printer as soon as it confirms."
Already printing
The confirmation says "It is printing: PrintSol stops the printer." A stop is sent straight away. Clear the bed afterwards.
Stop, pause and resume
While a task prints, its card also has Pause print, Resume print and Stop print. Stop loses the print; the task goes back in the queue for another try. The Printers page has the same Pause, Resume and Stop buttons.
On Bambu firmware 01.08 and newer, pause and stop from software are refused unless the printer is in LAN Only mode with Developer Mode on. If a stop does not arrive, press stop on the printer screen.
Cancel vs remove
- Cancel keeps the task on the board as cancelled. For an order, press Queue for printing on the order to print it again; for any task, Retry in the popup puts it back.
- Remove task (Clear in the popup) deletes it for good. It is refused while the task is printing, and for tasks of an open order: cancel those instead, so the order still shows what is missing.
