Connect WooCommerce or Shopify
The one-click connections, the free-plan limit, and where bol.com, Etsy and other marketplaces fit in.
Go to Settings → Channels. The Connect a shop card connects without pasting any keys.
WooCommerce
- Enter your store address and press Connect WooCommerce.
- You are sent to your own WordPress admin and asked to approve PrintSol with read/write access.
- Your store sends the keys straight to PrintSol, which tests them before saving.
Your store has to reach PrintSol over the internet to deliver the keys, and PrintSol's public address must be https. If the connection does not complete, use "Or connect by hand" with API keys instead; see "Connect WooCommerce with API keys".
Shopify
Enter your-store.myshopify.com, press Connect Shopify and approve the app in Shopify. If PrintSol says Shopify needs a Partner app, the Shopify connection has not been set up on this PrintSol installation; contact support. The Shopify connection has had less real-world use than WooCommerce.
Etsy, eBay, bol.com and Amazon
These are not connected directly. Orders from them reach PrintSol when they arrive in your WooCommerce shop, for example through a multi-channel tool such as Commerlo. PrintSol recognises where each order came from and can apply that marketplace's own fees; see "Marketplace orders and fees".
After connecting
- Orders are checked every five minutes. Sync now checks straight away; Sync log shows what each check did.
- Products and variants are imported, so you can attach files to them.
- "Queue paid orders automatically" decides whether new orders go straight to the Print Queue.
- Edit sets the shop's commission and payment fees, which go into every order's true cost.
