Connect WooCommerce with API keys
The by-hand connection for when the one-click flow cannot reach your store: create a key in WooCommerce and paste it into PrintSol.
The one-click connection needs your store to reach PrintSol. If that does not work, for example because a security plugin blocks it, connect with API keys. This path works from anywhere.
1. Create a key in WooCommerce
- In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API → Add key.
- Give it a description, choose a user and set Permissions to Read/Write.
- Copy the consumer key and the consumer secret. WooCommerce shows the secret only once.
2. Paste it into PrintSol
- Settings → Channels → Or connect by hand.
- Platform: WooCommerce (paste keys).
- Fill in a name, the store URL, the consumer key and the consumer secret.
- Optionally set the commission and payment fees, and whether paid orders are queued automatically.
- Press Connect.
PrintSol checks the keys against your store before anything is saved. The store URL must be a public address. Keys are encrypted and never shown again.
What happens next
PrintSol imports your products and variants, and the orders of the last 60 days that contain them. From then on it checks every five minutes; Sync now on the shop's row pulls changes straight away.
