Sendcloud shipping labels

Connect Sendcloud, choose a shipping method per shipping profile, and make the parcel and label from the order.

3 min read

With Sendcloud connected, one button on an order creates the parcel and the carrier label, and puts the tracking number on the order.

1. Add your keys

Settings → Costs → Shipping & labels. Paste the Sendcloud public key and secret key (in Sendcloud: Settings → Integrations → API), set the parcel weight for the label in grams (500 g unless you change it), and press Save. Only owners and managers can save these.

2. A method per shipping profile

Shipping profiles (Settings → Costs) describe how a product ships: letterbox parcel, parcel up to 2 kg and so on. With Sendcloud connected, each profile gets a Sendcloud method list, grouped per carrier. Pick the method that matches, or leave "Sendcloud: general method / rules". Use reload methods from Sendcloud after changing your Sendcloud contract.

Give each product variant its shipping profile on the product page, or for many products at once with the bulk bar on Products.

3. Make a label

Open the order (or scan its work label) and press Sendcloud label. PrintSol picks the method like this:

  • the shipping method of the order's shipping profile (with several profiles on one order, the one for the heaviest parcel),
  • otherwise the general shipping method id under Shipping & labels,
  • otherwise your own shipping rules in Sendcloud decide.

The label PDF, tracking number and carrier are stored on the order. PrintSol never makes a second Sendcloud label for the same order.

The address must be complete, including a house number. Otherwise PrintSol says what is missing; fix it with Edit order. The parcel weight is the one general setting, not per product. Sendcloud support is new, so check your first labels carefully.
